Artful, Elegant Cabaret and Blues-Infused Jazz
ELENA GRECO is equally at home in cabaret, jazz, American Songbook and musical theater. With a voice that has a wide range of colors, she always conveys the essence of the music in its natural style.
As a cabaret and jazz vocalist, she collaborates with the best musicians New York City has to offer to develop unique arrangements that tell a story through song, propelled by the emotion and rhythm of the music. Her inspiration in these genres comes from diverse directions including Ethel Waters, Dinah Washington, Helen Humes, Sarah Vaughan, Irene Kral, Ibrahim Ferrer, Anita O’Day, Liza Minelli, Tony Bennett, and Steve Ross. Favorite songwriters include Harold Arlen, Irving Berlin, Michel LeGrand, and Stephen Schwartz. She’s particularly fond of 1930s blues.
Greco wants to reach audiences of all ages, introducing the art of cabaret to those who might not have experienced it before. These beautiful songs are timeless.
Her current musical project is ELEMENTS TWO™, which celebrates the elements of the Earth—earth, wind, fire, water and metal—each of which has its own special beauty. These elements, along with the sensually rich expressions of nature, are reflected in the perfectly melded group of songs that comprise an album recording of jazz standards and American Songbook, including Latin favorites and just a dash of musical theater. Elena Greco solos throughout, joined by stellar solo and ensemble performers from multiple genres and styles.

Once an opera singer, Elena was also a classical pianist, harpist, and flutist. Whatever the genre, she wants the audience to be inspired and entertained. Elena believes strongly that sharing our creative arts is a simple but extremely powerful means of enhancing communication, and that expression through the creative arts drives human evolution and therefore deserves and requires our respect and support. She believes music is the most transformational and uplifting tool on the planet. Her life is dedicated to creativity and allowing it to flourish in all of us.
Elena is producer, director and co-music director of ELENA GRECO MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTIONS™, roles which allow her to merge her musical skills, her training as a counselor and coach, and her technology and administrative skills into multimedia productions that offer entertainment, education and healing to her audience. It’s her intention that these concerts bring transformation and the expansion of creative energy in both performers and audience, through music, visual art, taste, technology, workshops and other creative expressions that expand the senses.
