Elena Greco, Vocalist and Producer/Director

ELENA GRECO
Vocalist and Producer/Director

VOCALIST ELENA GRECO is equally at home in cabaret, blues-infused jazz, American Songbook, and musical theater. With a voice that has a wide range of colors, she conveys the essence of the music and lyric.

She collaborates with the best musicians New York City has to offer to develop unique arrangements that tell a story through melody and harmony, propelled by the emotion and rhythm of the music. Her inspiration comes from diverse directions spanning multiple genres. Favorite songwriters include Harold Arlen, Irving Berlin, Michel LeGrand, and Stephen Schwartz.

Once an opera singer, Elena was also a classical pianist, harpist, and flutist. Whatever the genre, she wants to reach audiences of all ages, and she enjoys introducing the American Songbook to those who might not have experienced its beautiful songs, which will never become dated.

ELENA GRECO is PRODUCER, DIRECTOR, and CO-MUSIC DIRECTOR of ELENA GRECO MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTIONS™, roles which allow her to merge her musical, technological, and administrative skills into multimedia productions that entertain, educate, and enliven. It’s her intention that EGMP performances promote transformation and the expansion of creative energy in both performers and audience, through music, visual art, and other creative expressions that expand the senses. EGMP also fosters creative development for the performers and provides entertainment for a wide audience.

To further her intention to bring healing through music, under the EGMP umbrella Elena founded and hosts THE MUSIC SALON™ to provide a haven for creative artists to share their art among colleagues and to receive support in their creative process.
