Self-Publishing

Self-Publishing is becoming increasingly popular. With the publishing industry going through huge changes and the odds of being picked up by an agent or publisher decreasing, many writers are finding that self-publishing is the way to go. Not only do choose how much you want to be paid, you retain total creative control! You can employ your innate creativity in designing your own cover and format, so that the book is truly your own. You decide how you want to market your book, and where. You choose whether to publish solely in digital format (and which format!) or to offer a print version of your book. And if you need to make changes to the book later, making an edit or two without the necessity of creating a whole new edition is easy. And while some writers choose to hire others to format their book or design their cover or plan their marketing, there are so many online apps, many of which are free, that are there to help you, you can do it all yourself if you choose!
